Dear Dearest Diary,
The old saying no one will love you until you love yourself is one of the greatest truths that has stand the test of time. Love must come from within before it can be spread outside of yourself. It took me thirty years to realize that truth. For many years I didn't care much for the women I see in the mirror and I kept looking for love in all the wrong places. When I have really begin to digesting what I just said it really hit me how low my self-esteem really was. Sometimes we all can be blind to our very own beauty that's my story. We have to love our beautiful imperfections or we lose!!
Sometimes the love you feel for yourself is the most important love that you will ever feel for without it no other love is possible. Loving yourself is the difference between being way too hard on yourself and forgiving yourself knowing that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Loving yourself is looking in the mirror with no judgement just special attention to the parts that need extra love and affection. Finally loving yourself is true acceptance of your flaws and trying to better yourself the best way you can. Always try to do the best you can and love yourself for the effort. I love you just as you are.
